Description A view of the Silver City - Pinos Altos Railroad, built in 1905-1906 by the Comanche Mines to haul ore from Pinos Altos to the smelter at Silver City. This photograph shows the ore train negotiating the hair pin loop, just north of Silver City. There are several unidentified people. Along left edge on back: "7101 Porterfield Drug Co., Silver City, New Mexico Germany"
